a little rant.

number one:
ORIOLE is an amazing place for a latte and a languorous chat with a good friend. it was so comfortable i could have sat in there for the whole day.
number two: while i was talking to xiwei i started talking about tt experience with tt consultant person and found myself getting more and more buay song as i went on. haha. there was something repulsive about that guy that day when we met, oh he was charming, yes, but there was something that made me unable to like the person. nothing he did was wrong, he had the perfect manners, but everything just seemed so.. staged, so unreal, so seemingly perfect that it was in fact more unlikeable than ever. the voice was husky, supposedly attractive but grated on the nerves. i should have known once he mentioned they had classes for teaching you how to present yourselves in the right way in front of foreigners.
wtf?
i didnt know there was a
right way of doing that. his idea of the right way, i suppose. and i don't give a damn about whether i am dressed in autumn colours even if he thinks im a spring person (im not, but example example), or whether being sallow meant only dark hair colors. goodness, dude, i know u make a living off this and i respect tt, but i guess i cnt agree with it.
and if i think im beautiful the way i am, and everyone who dresses the way they are are beautiful the way they are, then at least im at peace with myself. i think i can trust myself to present my best everytime, not just through the way i speak or the way i dress, but by the person i am. its sad you have to depend on your winter colors to 'be your best', darling.
phew.
just a little rant to get off the chest. i guess im all the more pissed (at myself) cause i was probably thinking all that during the meeting but couldnt say a word.
